Knock down rebuild for the future

Knock down rebuild design for the future. I have been advising a few clients lately to make space at the rear of their properties to fit another dwelling in the future. Some of our clients have been a little tight for finance lately to complete a two home build with their knock down rebuild project. So my advice was to build one home as close to the front boundary with enough space for a rear access driveway for easy second

Knock down rebuilds Eltham & Doncaster

Wednesday, December 17, 2014
Interest has increased in the Eltham and Doncaster area for knock down rebuilds of late I believe due to the average of home owning residents looking to retirement. Many are caught up with not as much superannuation as they would like so a knock down rebuild looks very feasible. By building 2 townhouses on their land they can gain a sizeable nest egg to purchase a suitable smaller home. With the build cost of two good size townhouses coming in

Knock down rebuild to make maintenance easier

Thursday, October 23, 2014
I had a call today enquiring about a knock down rebuild and it was typical. Home owner has an older home located inner West of the city and they had obtained several quotations for an extension. Cheapest quote was $195k and didn't include everything they really wanted it to. If they had decided to go down the extension path they would have an old home at the front and would still require considerable maintenance due to the weather board construction

One of the biggest difficulties is moving to a new suburb and loosing
